About the AASDC

The Ambulance Association of San Diego County is the official trade group for San Diego County’s private ambulance service providers. The Association provides a forum for its members to exchange ideas and maintain dialog that is focused on the delivery of out-of-hospital EMS care and transportation.

The AASDC was formed to serve as a voice and clearing house for the ambulance service provider operating within San Diego County. The Association’s primary goals are to advocate and assist in the development of private enterprise, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and medical transportation services in San Diego County.

The AASDC views EMS not only as a public service, but also as an essential part of the complete medical care system. Its emphasis is on ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. Its members provide coverage throughout San Diego County with emergency and non-emergency medical transportation services. Since its inception, the AASDC has grown to include the majority of ambulance companies operating in San Diego County.

The AASDC encourages any Emergency or Non-emergency Medical Service Provider currently operation in San Diego County to apply for membership to the AASDC. Please see additional information in our Become a Member section to see the many benefits of membership.
